Personal Notes Program Version 2
We wrote this little program for ourselves to use when Microsoft's OneNote© was more
than we needed.
The program accepts information typed or pasted into it. Pasted information retains it's
formatting. The user can change fonts, font colors, add underlines, bold face, background color,
indent, center and bullet text. You can use the tab and enter keys to alter the layout of your
notes.
The entry can be emailed to someone without leaving the program. The entry is added to the
email as an attachment which opening as a word processing document. The program will remember
the email address of sender to save time in future. Actually, you do not need an email address
of your own. The program will accept any valid email address (such as me@me.com). The program
uses our mail server so you do not need an email account to send messages.
Your notes can be printed with full control of output. There is also a function to backup your
notes to a destination that you choose.
The program uses an embedded Microsoft Access© database which you can access directly
if you own a copy of Access. The database is stored in the same folder as the program.
